HOW TO MAKE A BRINE

INGREDIENTS

15 CUPS WATER 

4 TBSP LIGHT BROWN SUGAR 

3 LARGE TBSP  PICKLING SPICE 

1 TBSP DRY THYME

TOOLS NEEDED

LARGE CONTAINER FOR LIQUID 

TABLESPOON MEASURER

STEP 1: COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS

In large container add water and all dried ingredients

Mix until sugar is dissolved 

STEP 2: ADD PORK OR POULTRY

Add desired meat into brine, completely submerged 

STEP 3: REFRIGERATE

Cover container and transfer into refrigerator for at least 24 hours before cooking
